6 Days with my sister

My Sister Becky came to Minnesota and in tow were her 4 girls.

I had been asked a couple of times if this was going to be too much for me after just having a

baby....to some it might seem a bit like a circus and at times it was. But who doesn't enjoy a good circus?

We had a great time visiting, and lounging around, taking them to some of the HOT spots here in our town, and most of all just "being" with each other.

Our family was so happy to have visitors and I threatened her that this better not be a repeat of Missouri! And also, I am not going to have another baby just to get them here again.

Becky you were such a great help from the minute we got out of the truck and you were hooking up the bike trailer and taking the kids to the park, to the last minute you were scrubbing bathrooms and folding laundry to get me caught up. Everything you did was so much appreciated and I LOVE you for all that you did, and most of all for making memories that will last a life time....or until I can't remember them anymore.

Life can sometimes be like a circus, and the best part is that you get a cotton candy, sit back and enjoy the show.

Welcome Party/ Shower

Some good friends hosted a baby shower for Taylor last week.

I wasn't sure that it was the correct thing to do, being that he is our fifth.

I told Brooke my feelings on this, and her response was "Every baby should have a party"

So that was my outlook on the Shower/Party.
Taylor was being Welcomed into the world with a Party.

Let me just say that I have not ever been to a baby shower where there was Sushi.

Loved it. I have been waiting these past 9 months to eat Sushi, and what a treat that was.

Brooke, Elise & Aubrie put much thought and love into this special night. ( I wonder if the tropical theme had anything to do with Brooke just returning from Hawaii?)

I can't say Thanks enough.

Whenever I have had a party given for me, I get a bit nervous.

I seem to revert back to Jr. High days and worry, and wonder if anyone will really show up.

I was so happy at the turn out.

Everyone that came had a special reason for being there. They each have made a memory in my life over this past year.
