We just returned from our week long cruise on the Carnival Elation. What a grand time we had.
Just imagine, leaving the cold of Utah, meeting famous folks, having your food prepared for you each and every meal, and twice a day our cabin boy would come and straighten our mess, turn down the bed and leave a mint on our pillow.
Loved every moment of this whole vacation.
Shawn got sick with a 12 hour flu bug, and then emerged from the cabin just in time to hit the beach in Cabo San Lucas.
We joined dance off's, watched karaoke, and entered some of the cruise ship game shows. We left with a medal of honor.
At ports we hit Cabo and went snorkeling, and went to Lovers beach; Encenada we saw the worlds largest Blow hole, and made it thru the gauntlet of street peddlers.
It's hard to name just one part of the cruise that we enjoyed the most, but above all that comes to mind is that I was able to share this first cruise with Shawn and my sisters. It will be a great memory to draw from, and one we can laugh over as the years go by.
