Sledding for Diabetes

My Nephew Connor has Diabetes, and so his medical

group has fun activities for family and last night we went sledding at Solider Summit. This was so much fun. A pulley would latch onto your tube, and drag you up the hill. Then you choose what course you want to rip down and before you know it your at the bottom, wind rushing thru you, and cheeks pink.

Me with Hailey. I only went with her once, and then she was hotdog'in it down.

All of us girls. Me, Becky, Hailey, Jaycie,Jayne, Katie, Maddie, Maycie. Kennedy was already going down the hill.

Shawn draggin Maverick to the sledding point. Shawn busted thru the barricades at the bottom more than once. And the tips of his boots were burned up, cause that's your braking method. Burn Rubber!!

At dinner there, were drawings and most of us one snow hats, and Sadie one Jazz tickets!!

What a fun night, and thanks to Conner who made this night possible.

I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Saturday, Kennedy took the big plunge and made her decision to be baptised. We had a wonderful day, the weather cooperated with our BBQ plans too. We were so happy to see our family and neighbor friends show up to support Kennedy on this special occasion. After being baptised and coming out of the water in true Kennedy form, her words "ah, that was refreshing." I love that thought and it is so appropriate. It is great to be a Mom and also be refreshed with the gospel in our lives.
