See ya in 5

My parents have been visiting for the past 2 1/2 weeks and so I am putting the blame on them for not keeping up on my blogging.
I just dropped them off at the airport today, and then Madalyn and I made a few stops one at Mall of America, and the other at IKEA.
We loved having Grandma and Papa here to love on the kids, and keep me from being lonely.
After 2 weeks of card playing every night and afternoon, I am not sure what to do with myself.
We all had a good time and we look forward to seeing them in a short 5 months from now.

Shawn came up from putting Maverick to bed, with his head shaking back and forth in un-belief.
Shawn said he was cleaning toys up, and throwing clothes into the hamper which is in the closet. He noticed that Maverick had brought his Apple Juice downstairs, and thought it was weird that he would set it in his closet.
When he picked the glass up, a distinct urine odor arose.
Maverick simply stated that he" just couldn't' t make it to the bathroom" 10 feet away!

Surprise!

This past weekend I traveled out to Utah for my sister Jaynes Surprise 50th Birthday party.

Shawn was so kind to surprise me with a ticket, and with out kids!

I had such a great time visiting with my family, and laughing till my cheeks hurt with my sisters.

I got to Utah on Thursday night, and over the next 2 days we zipped thru Utah county shopping and eating till we were exhausted.

Some of my highlights of the trip:

*Seeing my Sister Becky & Mike at the Airport. (I was all emotional it was ugly.)

*Sneaking into Jaynes house at 10:30 and surprising her and Ralph

*Seeing Dad's reaction when he realized it was me and not Becky.

*Listening to my Niece Jaycies love life enfold.

*Seeing Gary with his girl Sarah

*Enjoying the simple times of spending it with Family.

What a trip to remember!
